Society recognizes me as unemployed, by trade. I like to think of myself as a writer, but this does not put bread on the table for me at this point in time. My dreams are many and little all at once. Despite what I've been told by most that have never lived there, I'd like to live in Japan and teach English there one day. I hear that it's a lovely place, and it's a nice dream to have. Marriage and children don't seem likely, but it is a possibility.
My majors obsessions include graphics, anime, and music. I love to mess around with Photoshop, and my skills have drastically improved since I first started. Anime became a large part of my life the very first time I saw Sailor Moon as a child, and not much has changed in that department, except for the fact that the list of favorites has gotten longer. I can't write music for the life of me, but I am almost always listening to it. Lately, it's been jrock and jpop that have been swirling around as my favorite genre.
My main passions in life lie in writing and reading. I enjoy reading books with every passion of my being. Everything from manga to science fiction, I am a fan, as long as it's tastefully written. The only thing I love MORE than reading is writing. I feel a great sense of satisfaction when I complete an essay, story, or poem. I'm not really a "grammar-nazi," but I prefer to have people ATTEMPT at using grammar properly. I know that I don't have perfect grammar, but I can use what I do know effectively enough to communicate. |
